Xiaocong Li, is a Scientist in the Real-World Evidence & Data Analytics team, located in OPEN Health’s Shanghai office. Her expertise includes database analysis (LifeLink, MarketScan, HCUP, MEPS), predictive analytics, machine learning, and economic modeling. Xiaocong has therapeutic experience in the following areas: cardiac surgery, intensive care, cardiovascular diseases, infection, and opioid use disorders.
Xiaocong received her PhD degree in Health System and Services Research from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), where she built extensive experience in data analysis and research design. Prior to joining OPEN Health, Xiaocong worked at a large cardiac surgery intensive care unit in Shanghai, China across a breadth of roles including clinical care, quality control, and clinical research. Xiaocong has 6 peer-reviewed publications. Her dissertation project of developing a prediction tool for opioid-related adverse outcomes has been commercialized and copyrighted.
