Viktor Chirikov, PhD, MS is an Associate Director in the Real-World Evidence & Data Analytics and Modeling & Meta-Analysis Centers of Excellence located in Pharmerit International’s Bethesda, MD office. He has a strong background in life-sciences, economics, and engineering, with 5 years of direct HEOR experience.
He has led and collaborated on multiple projects spanning the areas of hepatitis C, liver and skin cancers, hypertension, diabetes, quality measurement and improvement, transitions of care, medication therapy management (MTM) and community based participatory research interventions. Dr. Chirikov is well versed in analyses using various databases such as SEER-Medicare, Medicare Current Beneficiaries Survey, the Chronic Conditions Warehouse, Medicaid, as well as the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. He also has working knowledge of drug formulary evaluation, developed as a grader and judge at AMCP’s annual Pharmacy & Therapeutics student competitions held over the past four years. Dr. Chirikov has experience in clinical accuracy, legal integrity, and FDA compliance review of promotional materials, and has been an invited peer reviewer for multiple journals He holds a Ph.D degree from University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and an MS in Health and Biopharmaceutical Economics from Lehigh University.
