Venetia is an Associate Research Consultant within the Modelling & Meta-Analysis team in Rotterdam. She works on cost-effectiveness and budget impact model development and adaptation, survival analyses and meta-analyses, preparation of pharmacoeconomic dossiers and literature reviews. Venetia has experience with different statistical programs such as R, Stata, Excel and SPSS. Her research experience covers the areas of infectious diseases, oncology, and public health.
Prior to joining OPEN Health, Venetia did her PhD at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam on the health and economic assessment of national HPV prevention programmes in Europe. During her PhD, Venetia was a visiting researcher at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), in the Netherlands, and at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), in France. Venetia also holds a M.Sc. degree in Health Economics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the Kapodistrian University of Athens. She published her work in several peer-reviewed journals in the field of economics and medicine and gave several presentations at international and European conferences.
