Sushmitha Inguva is a Senior Research Analyst in the Real World Evidence and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Centers of Excellence, located in the Bethesda, MD office. Her expertise includes observational research, retrospective analysis using administrative claims and complex survey databases, patient-reported outcomes assessment and psychometric validation. Sushmitha has therapeutic experience in the following areas: vaccines, mental health, substance use disorders, neurology and chronic pain.
Prior to joining Open Health, Sushmitha has worked as a Research Analyst for the Mississippi Medicaid Evidence-based Drug Utilization Program for 4 years. Her work around human papillomavirus vaccination series completion highlighted the importance of pharmacists as vaccine administrators and has resulted in state-level reform in healthcare provider reimbursement policies. Additionally, she has also worked as an HEOR intern within biopharmaceutical companies – Regeneron and AbbVie. She has presented her work as posters and podiums at various regional, national and international conferences, and has a strong publication background in peer-reviewed journals. Sushmitha earned her PhD in Health Outcomes Research from the University of Mississippi and her MS in Pharmacy Administration from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
