Sumitra Sri Bhashyam is an Associate Director in Patient-Centered Outcomes & Engagement, located in the London office. As a decision analyst, her expertise includes supporting decision making with conflicting objectives and multiple stakeholders, as well as large and difficult to quantify uncertainties. Her patient preference experience includes developing several stated preferences studies, such as discrete choice experiments. Her experience also includes quantitative benefit risk assessment using MCDA in a variety of therapeutic areas such as oncology, hemato-oncology, neurology, and rare diseases.
Prior to joining Open Health, Sumitra worked within Sumitra worked in various consultancy companies, including Evidera in London, as well as doing some freelance consultancy alongside her academic research at the London School of Economics across a breadth of roles. Sumitra published her work in several peer-reviewed journals in the field of health economics, decision and risk analysis and has presented her work at various European and international conferences, including ISPOR. Sumitra is also a committee member of the Women and Operational Research and Analytics, at the Operational Research Society. Sumitra earned an MSc and PhD in Operational Research specialising in Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis from the London School of Economics.
