Rutika Raina is a Research Analyst in the Real World Evidence & Data Analytics Center of Excellence, located in OPEN Health’s Boston office. Her expertise includes multivariate regression modeling, survival analysis using electronic health records and hospital data, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis. She has worked on projects including data analysis using the Rotterdam Study database, the REGARDS study database as well as the NAPLS study database. She has worked with software packages such as R, SAS, STATA, and SPSS along with powerful data visualization tools such as Power BI. Rutika is familiar with several therapeutic areas such as Cardiology, Infectious diseases, Mental Health and Neurology. Her daily work requires working knowledge of SAS and Excel.
Prior to joining OPEN Health, Rutika worked within the CDC Foundation and was located at the Cleveland Department of Health, assisting them in their COVID-19 response, as an epidemiologist data analyst. Rutika completed her Master of Public Health with a specialization in Global Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, USA. During her masters, Rutika did her practicum at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands where she interned as a research analyst. Rutika was previously awarded a B.Tech in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology in India.
