Laura DiGiovanni is Director, Study Operations in the Patient-Centered Outcomes Center of Excellence located in Pharmerit’s Bethesda office. Her expertise includes operational planning, development of project tools, and resource management. Laura has therapeutic experience in the following areas: Hereditary Cancer Susceptibility Syndromes, Oncology, ALS, and Dementia, working on both North American and global research initiatives.
Prior to joining Pharmerit, Laura worked within the Real World Solutions department of a leading CRO, managing the day-to-day operations of global interventional Phase III/IV clinical trials from study award through close-out. The majority of her career was spent at the University of Pennsylvania managing design, recruitment, execution, and publication of non-interventional studies in oncology. Laura started her career at a large pharmaceutical company. The combined experience at a pharmaceutical company, in academia, and at a CRO will enable her to successfully lead the study operations team with a keen eye towards site recruitment and management. Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University, and then a Master of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
