Ji-Hee Youn, PhD, is a Scientist in the Modeling & Meta-analysis (MMA) Center of Excellence, based in Open Health’s Rotterdam office. Her expertise includes model-based cost-effectiveness analyses, patient level simulation, survival analyses and network meta-analyses. Ji-Hee has worked on various therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular disease, oncology, COPD, dementia and skin conditions.
Prior to joining Open Health Group, Ji-Hee worked in another clinical research consultancy based in London, UK, as a health economist taking a breadth of roles including health economic modelling, survival analyses and meta-analyses. Prior to her consultancy career, Ji-Hee worked at two of the leading health economic research centres in the UK – the University of Manchester Centre for Health Economics and the Health Economics Research Group (HERG) based at Brunel University. She holds a PhD from the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield in multi-morbidity modelling using discrete event simulation in older population with heart disease, osteoporosis and/or dementia; and an MSc in International Health Policy (Health Economics) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
