Gurpreet is a Research Analyst located in Pharmerit’s Oxford office and is part of the Modelling and Meta-Analysis Centre of Excellence. Her expertise includes data analysis and modelling.
Prior to joining Pharmerit, Gurpreet worked as a health economics intern in the oncology division at Takeda UK and completed her master’s thesis where she developed an early cost-effectiveness model for an investigational drug and its treatment of ALK+ non-small cell lung cancer.
Gurpreet has worked as a clinical hospital pharmacist in the UK and has experience in different therapeutic areas such as cardiology, endocrine, oncology, paediatrics, respiratory, surgery, Covid-19. As part of being in a multi-disciplinary team, her role included medicines reconciliation, advising clinicians on the suitability of medications, highlighting and suggesting solutions to drug interactions, counselling patients on medications/adherence and ensuring safe patient discharge.
Gurpreet holds a Master’s in Pharmacy from University of Hertfordshire and a Master’s in Economic Evaluation in Healthcare from City, University of London.
