Gijs van de Wetering is a Senior Director in the Modeling and Meta-Analysis team in the Rotterdam office. Gijs has extensive experience in health economic modelling, interactive dashboard tools, and supporting reimbursement requests across Europe, the US, Latin America, and the Asian-Pacific region.
He has worked on a variety of projects in a wide range of disease areas such as oncology, respiratory, infectious diseases, haematology, neurological disorders and orphan diseases. Gijs obtained his PhD in January 2014 on research studying the role of time in cost-effectiveness analysis. Furthermore, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical engineering and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. Gijs published his work in several peer-reviewed journals in the field of health economics and medicine.
