Elleke Peterse, PhD, MSc, MPH is an Associate Research Consultant located in Pharmerit’s Rotterdam office. She works in the Modeling and Meta-Analysis team, and has expertise in developing and adapting cost-effectiveness models.
Prior to joining Pharmerit, Elleke was a junior researcher at the department of Public Health, Erasmus University Medical Center. She performed micro-simulation modeling to inform policies related to colorectal cancer screening. During her position at the Erasmus University Medical Center, she was a visiting scientist for one year at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle, US, where she developed models to predict an individual’s colorectal cancer risk based on genetic- and lifestyle factors. Before joining the Erasmus Medical Center, Elleke was a PhD candidate at the department of Pathology, Leiden University Medical Center, focusing on the molecular cell biology of bone tumors. Elleke holds a PhD from Leiden University, a Master in Biomedical sciences from Leiden University, and a Master in Public Health from the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences.
