Christina DuVernay is a copyeditor in the Strategic Market Access Center of Excellence located in Pharmerit’s Bethesda office. Her expertise, besides copyediting, includes writing and research about health care and managing the publications process.
Prior to joining Pharmerit, Christina worked in several key publishing roles, including seven years as a senior editor for Harvard Business School Publishing and three years as a senior editor for Health Affairs. Her piece in that journal about Vermont’s medical homes experiment has been cited more than 100 times. Before entering the publishing field, Christina taught for several years, including four years in Paris. Christina earned her B.A. in English from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and her M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University in the City of New York.
