Cathelijne Alleman, MSc, is an Associate Director in the Strategic Market Access department in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Her main expertise is leading and conducting systematic literature reviews. Systematic reviews for clinical and cost-effectiveness have been used to prepare indirect comparisons, economic models, global value dossiers and (NICE) reimbursement dossiers.
Cathelijne also has experience with reviews regarding epidemiology, disease burden and treatment patterns, where she used the results as input for gap analyses, landscape analyses, strategic advice and value stories. The outcomes of several literature review projects have been published in journals (examples in neuropathic pain and diabetes). Furthermore, Cathelijne has been involved in preparing manuscripts for publication, PRO studies, country adaptations and network meta-analyses. Through all the different projects she gained experience in a wide range of disease areas, including respiratory disease, oncology, urology, osteoporosis and several orphan diseases. Cathelijne joined OPEN Health in 2011 with a Master degree in Public Administration and a Master degree in Health Economics, Policy and Law.
