Aparna Ramen is a Research Analyst in the Real-World Evidence Center of Excellence, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her expertise includes public health research, systematic literature review, statistical/regression analysis, and data visualization.
Prior to joining Open Health, Aparna conducted national survey-based public health research at the Minnesota Population Center and the University of Minnesota analyzing the demographic, spatial, and temporal factors influencing social contact patterns in the US and their implications for the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. She also conducted a retrospective analysis of hospital administrative and claims data at Children’s Minnesota Hospital to evaluate pediatric measles hospitalizations and resource utilization. Aparna did her BS in Neuroscience and her Master of Science degree in Health Informatics, minor in Epidemiology at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and Institute for Health Informatics.
