Ana Pena-Molina is a Research Analyst in the Patient-Centered Outcomes Center of Excellence, located in Pharmerit’s Bethesda office. Her expertise includes data collection, statistical analysis, literature reviews, and quantitative research methods.
Prior to joining Pharmerit, Ana conducted research on maternal mortality and morbidity at the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in Rockville, Maryland with the focus of the developing clinical quality measures. During her graduate career, she conducted a cross-sectional study on sexual violence and HIV care engagement to understand the association between sexual violence from a current and/or previous partner and missing HIV care appointments among Hispanic women who are HIV positive. Additionally, she has conducted research on alternative technology to open burning open detonation of hazardous materials with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Ana earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mount St. Mary’s University.
