Alexis Cooke is a Scientist in Patient-Centered Outcomes Center of Excellence, located in Pharmerit’s Bethesda office. Her expertise includes understanding patient outcomes related to health care and health care delivery with expertise in qualitative and mixed methodology. Alexis has therapeutic experience in the following areas: substance use disorders/treatment, HIV and implementation science.
Prior to joining Pharmerit, Alexis worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco in Drug Abuse Treatment and Services Research where her work focused on the study of individual, interpersonal and socio-structural factors that contribute to health outcomes and healthcare utilization for vulnerable populations. Additionally, Alexis has over 8 years of experience working within community and clinic-based settings conducting research on a variety of issues including health, quality of life and treatment preferances. Alexis earned her MPH degree from The University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health and her PhD from The University of California, Los Angeles Fielding School of Public Health.
