Major responsibilities:

The ideal Medical Writer will need the right blend of writing ability to produce high-quality medical communications, and skills and confidence to work directly with clients and meet deadlines.

  • Develop/author project deliverables or other assignments such as value dossiers (global, AMCP, core), value slide decks, technical reports, scientific meeting posters and abstracts, and scientific journal manuscripts
  • Conduct rigorous, relevant synthesis of identified evidence from clinical, humanistic, and economic literature
  • Partner with Pharmerit team members to effectively communicate research findings
  • Manage work and project teams as appropriate including budget and scope of work
  • Respond to proposals, or business development opportunities as appropriate

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelors’ degree (or equivalence) and 8 years of experience as a medical writer OR Master’s degree/PharmD and 4-6 years of experience as a medical writer
  • Experience in medical writing, publications, and/or dossier development with a pharmaceutical company or consulting company
  • Experience conducting literature reviews supporting global value dossiers, AMCP dossiers, strategic planning exercises, or scientific publications
  • Experience writing proposals, responding to RFPs, and managing project teams
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, including the ability to prepare relevant summaries of complex material
  • Ability to communicate scientific or medical information in a clear and concise manner and interpret and summarize clinical data and other complex information
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and attention to style, detail, consistency, grammar, and scientific accuracy
