You will be a success if you:

  • Understand the changing landscape of market access, especially in German and European markets
  • Provide leadership in German HTA strategy and market access projects – for pharmaceuticals as well as digital therapeutics and medical devices
  • Have knowledge of drug approval and reimbursement processes in Germany, including evidence needs for patient-relevant outcomes (PRO) and real-world evidence (RWE)
  • Bring in innovative commercial ideas in this fast changing market environment
  • Possess scientific leadership and demonstrate delivery excellence across a wide variety of therapeutic areas and have a deep understanding of SMA projects (including market access strategy, HTA strategy and dossiers, value communication and evidence synthesis)
  • Design, sell, execute, and communicate projects that delight the client and deepen the relationship
  • Have built a progressive career in leading consulting teams and projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Have a deep understanding of operational best practices for project delivery
  • Contribute, create and collaborate to a positive and upbeat work environment
  • Can lead by influence and behaviors that advance OPEN Health culture
  • Support the business strategies, metrics and objectives of the SMA team, all of which align with overall company goals

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in market access strategy with a consulting company or pharmaceutical company
  • Master’s degree or PhD in pharmacy, biomedical sciences, health economics, medicine, public health, health policy, epidemiology or any other related sciences is required
  • Documented track record in the design and implementation of HTA and market access strategy projects
  • Experience of leading expert delivery teams, which may be local or globally based
  • Demonstrated success in business development with a special focus on Germany
  • Prior experience in working with writing proposals, responding to RFPs and managing project teams
  • Experience of leading cross Center of Excellence integrated solutions (including PRO, RWE, and modelling) is appreciated
  • Strong analytical, writing and organizational skills that include the ability to prepare and present summaries of complex materials
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences
  • The ability to forge and effectively manage relationships within OPEN Health and with external stakeholders
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to question the status quo
  • A demonstrated capability to be proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities to ensure that promises are kept and expectations are exceeded
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office
